Job Summary
A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse is needed in the area to provide specialized patient care at an acute care facility. This role involves working nights with a schedule of every other weekend and holiday, offering a dynamic and rewarding environment for experienced healthcare professionals.

Job Details

• Position Description: The PCU is seeking a nurse to work in a 12-bed Stepdown/Intermediate Medical Care level unit, with a patient ratio of 1:4. The facility may float staff to Medical-Surgical or Medical-Surgical Telemetry units.
• Required Qualifications: CertificationsACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS; Educationno specific degree listed; Locationno specific location listed; Experienceminimum of 2 years in a related setting required.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include managing arterial lines, chest tubes, post-cardiac catheter care, and administering various Gtts such as insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, cardene, and neosynephrine. This role does not require on-call duties. No on-site BSN is required; licenses can be submitted electronically. The start date is 11/02/2026, with the assignment ending on 02/01/2027.
