Job Details

• Position Description: Contributing professional and clinical knowledge within the PCU to ensure optimal patient outcomes, supporting the healthcare provider in managing complex cases.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) required.
• Education Requirements: Valid Drivers License, Work history/resume, Skills checklist (completed within 1 year), License verification, Copy of certifications, supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Location Requirements: Illinois license required; Iowa license on offer.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 0 years required; at least 1 travel contract completed preferred.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 1 year of previous stepdown experience, chest tubes, femstops, trachs, Central Lines, drains, CBI, required.
• Additional Information: This unit has a patient ratio of 1:7. The high volume of open travel needs aims to reduce this ratio; the more travelers fill the vacancies, the lower the ratio will be. Contract duration: 8, 10, or 13 weeks starting from 10/19/2026, ending 01/18/2027.
