Description

Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized patient care in the ICU setting, focusing on critically ill adult patients with a range of diagnoses, including pain, respiratory issues, injury, and other acute conditions. The role requires adherence to established clinical protocols and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

  • Shift Time: Nights
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Certifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS; required experience: 2 years
  • Required Qualifications: ICU nursing experience, valid licensure to work as an RN, and all listed certifications.
  • Additional Information:
    • Unit has 12 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
    • Must have experience with NIHSS and titration of drips such as vasopressors, inotropes, sedatives, and analgesics
    • Unit equipped with Cpap, BiPap, high flow oxygen, vents
    • Self-scheduling and block scheduling available
    • Full and part-time staff are expected to work at least six weekend shifts per six-week schedule
    • Night shifts with a start date of 10/26/2026 and end date of 01/25/2027
    • Unit has in-house hospitalist or intensivist staff and ICU RT available 24/7
    • Telemetry monitoring will be read by RNs; monitors are not specified by brand
    • Must be available to float within Zone 3 if needed, with unit-specific orientation conducted during the week of start
