Job Details

• Position Description:
  This ER nursing position requires floating between multiple satellite ER sites, including locations such as Goodyear, Camelback, Mesa, Glendale, and Surprise. The schedule is scheduled in advance, with the first day involving simulated skills assessments and sterile field procedures. The role involves skill verification in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes, with a focus on sterile technique and emergency care.
• Required Qualifications:
  Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC; Education: RN license; Location: The area; Experience: Minimum of 2 years in emergency nursing.
• Schedule:
  Evening shifts, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  This position entails unit-specific orientation and requires passing skills assessments related to sterile procedures, lifts, restraints, and wound care. Candidates must be comfortable with rapid patient turnover and working across multiple locations. The hospital can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
