Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Roanoke, VA
This ER nursing position involves providing care to critically ill and high- and low-acuity patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The role requires application of advanced emergency nursing skills, including medication administration, laboratory procedures, and critical patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  Responsible for delivering comprehensive emergency nursing care, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients within an 8-bed emergency department. Care involves working independently and in collaboration with a team to manage high-acuity cases efficiently and effectively.
• Required Qualifications:
  Valid certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Minimum of 1 year of emergency room nursing experience. Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN or RN) or equivalent. Must be able to care for critically ill patients.
• Schedule:
  Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Experience with emergency department procedures and high-acuity patient care.
• Additional Information:
  Candidates will be expected to follow unit policies and dress code in navy blue scrubs. The assignment includes four weekend shifts per schedule. There are no floating requirements for this position.
