Description

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Technician in the area. This role involves supporting the obstetric and neonatal teams during vaginal and cesarean deliveries, with responsibilities including assisting with patient care and operating in a fast-paced, acute care environment. The position requires flexibility to float to related areas and adherence to hospital safety and clinical protocols.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Unit Notes: Department: LDRP Tech / OB Tech. Certifications Required: BLS Basic Life Support, CST or NCCT Certified Surgical Technologist or National Certified Surgical Technologist, ND state license. The role entails clinical involvement with Suites: 1. Common Cases: Vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
  • Certifications and Education: BLS Certification, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA, ND state licensure.
  • Schedule: Evening shift from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week over the course of the assignment.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications listed above, minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, licensure as applicable, and ability to work evenings.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: OB technicians can float to other areas as helping hands or safety sitters and may be offered to float to the main operating room. On-call required every third weekend, with two holidays per year. RTO (Reasonable Time Off) needs to be communicated upfront, with no additional approvals for RTO after submission. The shift involves night hours, and staff will be required to operate within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
