Job Summary:
Endoscopy Lab in an acute care setting is seeking a qualified health care professional for a rotating shift position. The role involves pre-procedure patient assessment, intra-procedure moderate sedation administration, post-procedure recovery, and monitoring. Candidates with experience in tele monitor proficiency and endoscopy procedures are preferred.

Job Details:

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Education Requirements: Willingness to submit licensure; minimal experience required.
• Location Requirements: No specific location restriction.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years for moderate sedation and tele monitor proficiency.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, Mon-Fri, four 10-hour shifts with start times between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM, totaling at least 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure moderate sedation, intra-procedure patient monitoring, and post-procedure recovery.
• Candidates experienced with endoscopy procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy) are preferred.
• Additional notes specify departmental orientation and potential cross-location assistance in case of call outs.
• No charge nurse, house supervisor, or manager responsibilities are included.
