Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing comprehensive emergency care to diverse patient populations, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, in a busy emergency department. The role requires responding to common diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.

Job Details

Certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) TNCC certification is required to be in hand.
Education Requirements: Active New York license and all Registered Nurse (RN) licenses, with documentation of travel experience required.
Location Requirements: Drivers licenses with an address matching demographics.
Years of Experience: 2 or more years of emergency department experience, with a minimum of 0 years required.
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
Additional Information: Up-to-date resume including at least 2 years of emergency department experience, documentation of travel experience, skills checklist matching the specialty, and a current NURSYS report verifying licenses. EMR experience required with EPIC platform. The unit contains 64 beds, including triage, acute care, super track, trauma, clinical decision unit (CDU), and psychiatric sections.
