Job Summary
A Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) RN (Registered Nurse) position is available in San Antonio. This role involves providing specialized oncology care to adult patients undergoing chemotherapy, central line management, and related treatments in a hospital setting. The position offers the opportunity to work within a dedicated unit focused on cancer treatment and patient recovery.

Job Details

  • Location: San Antonio
  • Schedule: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse License; at least 2+ years of experience in oncology; BLS certification; chemotherapy certification preferred but not required; experience with Mediports/PICCs/Central Lines preferred; must have oncology and cancer care experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy certification; experience with central line management and lab draws; proven ability to float as needed based on floating policy; knowledge of Meditech documentation system.
  • Additional Information: All travelers are required to float in accordance with hospital policy. The unit emphasizes infection control and protocol adherence, including central line dressing changes and chemotherapy administration procedures.
