Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Southern California This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in a dynamic Emergency Room setting. • Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor; Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI); National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); 0 years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience.
• Additional Information: The role involves collecting relevant patient data, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating care delivery, evaluating progress, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members. The nurse participates in discharge planning, delegates duties appropriately, and performs other duties as assigned.
