Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Level 1 Trauma, located at the healthcare facility. This role involves providing urgent and critical care to a diverse patient population, from newborns to the elderly, in a busy Emergency Department. The position supports a dynamic team managing trauma, cardiac emergencies, strokes, and other acute conditions.

Job Details

• Position: ER Nurse Level 1 Trauma
• Location: The healthcare facility
• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or TNS, with active IL license or confirmation of application process
• Required Qualifications: Certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or TNS; minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience preferred; candidates must have active IL license or application initiated; experience with vasopressor and cardiac drips recommended
• Additional Information: Care for patients with a wide range of conditions, including critical trauma cases, strokes, and cardiac events, in a Level 1 Trauma facility with 65 beds and private rooms. Nurses must be proficient in monitoring and titrating various drips and interpreting rhythms on Phillips monitors. The ED maintains diverse staffing including physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, and techs, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-5.
