Job Summary
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location unspecified. This role involves working primarily on a single observation unit with required float coverage to other Medical-Surgical units and possibly the Emergency Department, depending on skill and knowledge. The position begins on November 16, 2026, and concludes on February 15, 2027, offering a 12-hour shift schedule with every other weekend required.

Job Details

  • Position Description: The RN will primarily work on the observation unit, with float duties to other Medical-Surgical units such as Respiratory, Stroke, and Cardiac, and potentially the Emergency Department if appropriately skilled and knowledgeable.
  • Required Qualifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry/Medical-Surgical experience; full proficiency in Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR); must be able to read Telemetry/Blood Chemistry and Radiology Analysis (BCRA), with competency testing on day one; experience with Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) is not required.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7 p.m. 7:30 a.m.), with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Must have current and recent Telemetry/Med Surg experience; competency in Epic EMR is mandatory. Must be available to start on November 16, 2026. Duplicate submissions are not accepted. Only one submission per traveler, per agency, per specialty. The facility reserves the right to cancel hours within the contract.
  • Submission Requirements: Ensure that all requested time off (RTO) is disclosed at the time of submission and included in the confirmation page.
