Job Details

• Position Description: Surgical Associates offers general surgery services that deal with abdominal organs, soft tissue masses, and traumatic injuries. The team provides urgent and emergent surgeries including appendectomy, bowel obstruction relief, and complex laceration repairs. Common procedures include colonoscopy, upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, soft tissue mass excision, hernia repairs, oncologic surgeries, skin grafts, and hemorrhoid procedures.
• Required Qualifications: Current operating room (OR) experience of at least 2 years in a hospital setting, proficient in circulator duties with strong orthopedic experience. Must possess Vermont RN license or a valid Compact license, and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Education level should include a Bachelor Degree.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.

• Additional Information: The position requires candidates to work two blocks including holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. The shift begins at 3:30 pm and ends at 7 am the following day, with a requirement to work 10 call shifts per month, including one weekend. All requested time off must be noted at the time of submission and approved prior to the assignment.
