Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) The organization is seeking a qualified PACU RN to provide specialized care within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. This role involves delivering patient-centered care, assessing postoperative patients, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal recovery and safety.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: CA-RN (Registered Nurse), Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, 0 years of experience required.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities include creating and maintaining a healing environment through patient and family engagement, assessing data and diagnosing nursing needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating intervention effectiveness.
  • Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans and educates patients on self-care and illness prevention.
  • Monitors and evaluates patient responses to interventions, ensures safety standards are met, and participates in team activities to improve patient care and staff morale.
  • Utilizes available technology for communication, documentation, and clinical research to enhance patient outcomes and clinical practices.
  • Demonstrates leadership and commitment to lifelong learning through professional practice and ongoing education.
  • Must possess CA-RN licensure and current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
