Description

Job Summary
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse is based in a healthcare facility and is responsible for providing comprehensive mother-baby nursing care. This role involves evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and developing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend, and 3 out of 6 holidays required
Required Qualifications: RN license (NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license), ASN degree, BLS certification from AHA, NRP certification, AWHONN certification in Advanced or C-EFM, minimum 3+ years of mother-baby nursing experience, and experience with mother-baby couplet care, patient assessment, care planning, therapeutic interventions, and care management
Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree
Additional Information: Scrubs provided Navy Blue; no on-call or float requirements
