Job Details

  • Position Description: The Clinical Nurse (CN) is an RN responsible for providing hands-on patient care within the scope of practice defined by the California Nursing Practice Act, regulatory standards, and hospital policies. The CN performs all nursing process steps, including patient assessment, data interpretation, care planning, implementation, evaluation, coordination, and patient education. The role emphasizes family-centered care, safety, and professional development.
  • Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred, 0 years of experience, work location in California, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per day, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The RN must utilize technology for documentation and communication, participate in team activities, and maintain current knowledge of nursing practices and licensure requirements. The role involves rapid assessment and response to patient needs, with responsibilities including patient education, response to emergencies, and adherence to safety standards.
