Job Summary
Vail, CO Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician (ORT) This role involves assisting during surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile field and providing instrumentation to the surgical team. The position supports high-quality patient care within the perioperative environment and functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Job Details

• Location: Vail, CO
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 32 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist; Licensed as a Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado; BLS certification by American Heart Association; Ability to obtain necessary computer skills within 90 days; Must possess working knowledge of English language including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Responsibilities include assisting with surgical procedures, ensuring sterile technique and environment safety, monitoring the sterile field, maintaining and preparing instruments, and supporting room turnover activities.
• The position requires physical activity including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs, as well as the ability to work in a healthcare environment with potential hazards.
• Experience requirement: 0 years minimum.
• Additional information: Must be HIPAA compliant. The position involves demonstrating knowledge and skills to perform all functions effectively and communicate clearly within the team.
