Job Summary
The organization is seeking a highly skilled ICU Neuro nurse for a position in the Intensive Care Unit Neurological at their facility. This role involves providing specialized care for patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, cerebral aneurysm, neurovascular surgery, and traumatic brain injury. The position offers a rotating shift schedule with a focus on acute neurocritical care.
Job Details
- Location: Not specified (generally in a healthcare facility providing neurocritical care)
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with all shifts including day/night rotation and every other weekend; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in CPR-AHA and ACLS; at least 1 year of related work experience; applicable licensure; experience with Epic system; nursing degree
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (NSICU); certification in neurocritical care preferred
- Responsibilities: Provide advanced nursing care to neurocritical patients, monitor neurological status, manage ventilators and other critical equipment, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with clinical standards
- Additional Information: The role requires current Epic experience, and orientation begins weekly on Mondays. Candidates must submit available interview dates and times at the time of application. No travel is required for this position.
