Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) located in the healthcare setting. This position involves providing specialized pre-operative and post-operative care for patients following surgical procedures. The role requires adherence to strict certification and licensing standards, with shifts from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., working four ten-hour shifts weekly.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current Massachusetts RN license, 2+ years recent pre-operative experience, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, working days from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, Massachusetts RN license, 2+ years recent pre-op experience, flu vaccination (medical exemptions only).
• Additional Information: Candidates must successfully pass ECG/telemetry and medication tests during onboarding. Testing is administered via Zoom prior to assignment with a pass score of 85%. Candidates should prepare thoroughly using provided study materials.
• Responsibilities include providing pre-op and post-op patient care, performing assessments, and complying with department protocols.
• Submission Requirements: Must include proof of certifications, license, and test results at the time of submission.
