Description

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) located in Hackensack Meridian Health-Main Campus. This role involves providing specialized emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment. The ER RN must quickly assess patients, prioritize injuries, and deliver immediate care for a variety of trauma and medical cases.

Job Details

Shift: Days
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS Basic Life Support, ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, ASN Associate Degree in Nursing, minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 18 months of recent ER experience within the past six months.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must have minimum 18 months of Nursing experience working in an ER environment.
- Demonstrated level of performance and practice is required.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Additional Information:
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
- Holiday requirement: 3 out of 6.
- No on-call or float requirements.
