Description

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location not specified. This role involves providing acute patient care in a fast-paced emergency department with a high patient volume. The nurse will respond to a variety of medical situations, including trauma, sepsis, chest pain, and injury, ensuring quality care and safety for all patients.

Job Details

  • Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are bonuses.
  • Education required: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Specialty: Emergency Room.
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional information: Must pass/pass exam on skills learned with a minimum score of 90%. Artificial nails are prohibited. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and reside outside a 50-mile radius from the organization. Fingernail policies and radius rules are strictly enforced.
  • Responsibilities include managing multiple patient conditions, utilizing electronic medical record systems, and coordinating with physicians and mid-level providers. They will manage ER holds, perform nurse draw for orders, and operate within a trauma level acute care setting.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, but only to the pediatric Emergency Department. No floating to inpatient units.
  • Submission requirements include proof of current licensure and certification, and the ability to work scheduled shifts.
