Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing patient care within a busy and diverse hospital environment, focusing on adult and geriatric populations. The position is scheduled for night shifts, providing critical support to the hospitals emergency and intensive care units.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 10/26/2026 to 01/02/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 2 years of acute care hospital experience; 0 years minimum experience required; respiratory rhythm recognition and management of cardiac drips such as Cardizem and Amiodarone.
• Preferred Qualifications: National Certification Corporation (NCC) certification, NIHSS experience.
• Responsibilities: Providing care for adult and geriatric patients, managing cardiac rhythms, administering cardiac drips, and assisting with diagnoses like CHF, COPD, and A-fib RVR.
• Additional information: Must be comfortable with potential float responsibilities to medical/surgical and emergency department/ intensive care unit overflow, caring for PCU or lower acuity patients. Competencies for ICU may be preferred for candidates with ICU experience.
