Job Summary
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse - Nights, in an acute care setting. This opportunity involves providing specialized care to critically ill patients, including those with sepsis, respiratory failure, and cardiac conditions. The position requires adherence to established clinical protocols and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC / TCAR; experience with trauma patient care preferred.
- Education Requirements: No specific degree requirement specified; minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU setting.
- Location Requirements: Ability to work in an ICU environment with a 12-hour night shift schedule.
- Years of Experience: 0 years minimum, with at least 1 year preferred.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include troubleshooting ventilator equipment, interpreting telemetry strips, titrating IV drips, and managing complex patient needs according to unit protocols.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Active license to submit.
