Description

Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in an acute care setting. The role involves providing comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The position requires EPIC electronic health record experience and the ability to work night shifts.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Active state or compact license, at least 1 year of inpatient medical-surgical experience, EPIC electronic health record experience within the past 6 months, BLS certification, a minimum of 1 year of experience, appropriate certifications, and experience with isolation precautions, PPE, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care/management.
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
Additional Information: Must have EPIC experience and be comfortable working with patient ratios of 1:6. Previous charge experience is preferred. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Orientation will include 20 hours of onsite training, completed within 48 hours of contract signing. The census averages 8 patients per day, with support from interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy.
