Job Summary
Medical-Surgical Floor position for a healthcare professional working night shifts in an inpatient setting. The role provides care for adult and geriatric patients with a typical patient ratio of 1:6 and requires recent Epic charting experience. The position offers 36- or 48-hour scheduling options.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 1 year of inpatient medical-surgical experience; recent Epic experience within the past 6 months; experience managing patient ratios of 1:6; state or compact license in hand at the time of submission.
- Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a 36- or 48-hour option and 48 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Care is provided to adult and geriatric patients. Relevant skills include isolation precautions and personal protective equipment, nasal cannula use, non-invasive airway management, and peripheral line care and management. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services.
