Job Summary
A ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse is needed in a healthcare facility located in the La Jolla, La Mesa, and Hillcrest areas. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients with serious and complex health conditions across multiple units, including cardiac, neuro, surgical, and transplant services. The position requires working Night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Location: Various healthcare facilities in La Jolla, La Mesa, and Hillcrest.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, CA state licensure, ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and experience with A-lines, phlebotomy, PICC lines, chest tubes, vents, telemetry, and IV starts.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with a 4-week schedule provided two weeks in advance. RN will be contacted two hours before each shift to confirm the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pulmonary artery lines, ICPBSN, and working in various patient populations such as cardiac, neuro, trauma, and transplant.
• Additional Information: The position involves floating within hospital units or nearby affiliate hospitals based on census and unit needs. Candidates must have active valid CA licenses and be prepared to follow background and license policies.
