Job Details

Position Description: The assignment is for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) Nurse working at various locations in La Jolla, La Mesa, and Hillcrest. The role involves floating across multiple units such as general medicine, surgical, neuro, oncology, cardiac, and orthopedics, with possible deployment to the emergency department inpatient overflow (EDIP) if census demands.
Required Qualifications: Active California state license, 2 years of PCU experience, ACLS certification, and a minimum of 1 year of prior healthcare experience in relevant settings.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The contract duration is from October 19, 2026, to February 22, 2027.
Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable working across multiple locations, including the possibility of floating to other units and facilities. The role includes working various holidays, with a requirement to work at least two of the three designated holiday shifts.
