Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse Location: unspecified. This role involves delivering specialized patient care within a cardiac catheterization laboratory environment. The position focuses on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions for cardiac patients, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes through professional nursing standards.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administers and monitors patient responses to all medications. Guides patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing within hospital policies.
  • Required Qualifications: RN, CVPA. Must read, write, and communicate in English. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN) currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Current Basic Life Support certification. Current Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification. Completion of Intra-aortic Balloon Pump course. Passing CCHC Pharmacology Exam and Basic Arrhythmia Exam prior to start date. Experience in acute cardiac unit or step-down patient management post-procedure, including vasoactive medication management and telemetry monitoring. Demonstrated skills in IV administration.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Current Cardiovascular interventional nursing experience within the last 5 years. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN).
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: On-Call required for off-shift, weekends, and holidays.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to provide proof of all certifications and licenses, and demonstrate experience relevant to the position.
