Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse - Boise, ID. This position involves providing patient care within a fast-paced, regionally floated unit supporting multiple facilities. The role requires adaptability to various settings including Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, with a focus on delivering quality care to diverse patient populations.

Job Details

  • Position Description:
    Unit notes include mandatory Med Surg Interivew and Auto Offer. The position is in a float pool supporting units across Boise, Meridian, and Nampa, including ED Boarders, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry. Assignments may involve floating to any facility within the region, including ICU and ER settings, with responsibilities in patient monitoring and clinical support.
  • Required Qualifications:
    Must have 2 years experience in the specialty and previous travel experience. Certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support). Education requirements, if any, are not specified.
  • Schedule:
    Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week. No self-scheduling; block scheduling may be attempted but not guaranteed.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience with cardiac medications such as Cardizem, Amio, Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin. ED holds experience is preferred, with ability to read and interpret tele monitors independently.
  • Additional Information:
    Float rotation may be required, with ability to float at any time during the shift to different units and facilities. Orientation includes a meet and greet on day 1 and three days of inpatient training. The unit supports a variety of responsibilities including titration of drips, troubleshoot RT equipment, and reading tele monitors.
  • Submission Requirements:
    Willingness to submit license to be held and waiting period applicable.
