Job Summary
ICU Medical Nurse (R.N.) Nights & Every Other Weekends Level III Trauma Center. Located in a comprehensive community healthcare organization, this position involves providing critical care for adult patients in a 20-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit. The role requires managing a wide range of diagnoses, with support from attending physicians and residents present around the clock.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), 2+ years of continuous MICU experience, telemetry competency, and ability to read tele strips
• Responsibilities: Care for adult patients with conditions such as substance overdose, severe psychiatric issues, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock; provide patient-centered care in a 20-bed ICU setting; manage high acuity cases and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Float: Float rotation may be required, primarily to Medical/Surgical units, possibly up to four or five patients
• Start Date: 11/15/2026
• End Date: 02/13/2027
• Additional Information: Experience in adult ICU, telemetry competency required, proficiency in reading tele strips essential, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
