Job Summary
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse position is based in a healthcare organization within Greenville, NC. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a tertiary care facility, utilizing advanced skills within the ICU setting, including neuro-critical care procedures and management of complex respiratory and circulatory conditions.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Certification, experience in a tertiary care facility, and a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include utilizing skills such as NIHSS scoring, lumbar puncture, ventriculostomy, ICP management, arterial line, central line, cranial drains, mechanical ventilation, IV drips (pain, sedation, vasopressors), temperature management, and CRRT.
- The nurse will be required to float to areas of equal or lesser care.
- Previous travel experience and proficiency with EPIC electronic health records are preferred.
- Dress code: Solid black or white uniforms for nurses.
- Applicants must be prepared to start on 10/26/2026 and the assignment is scheduled to end on 01/24/2027.
