Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse in the healthcare organization. This role involves providing specialized post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The position requires a dedicated professional to support a Level II Trauma Center with a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Job Details
- Certifications and Requirements: ACLS, BLS certifications are required; valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission); at least 1 year of relevant healthcare experience.
- Schedule: 4x10 evening shifts (10-hour shifts), minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: May be required to float between nearby facilities. The role includes caring for patients undergoing various surgeries such as vascular, general, orthopedic, pediatric, urology, gynecology, neuro/spine, and more in a Level II Trauma Center environment. Clinical proficiency in cardiac, ENT, gyn, ophthalmology, ortho, urology, post-procedure care, and IV management are essential. Must be flexible to work holidays and adhere to scheduled orientation hours.
- Submittal Requirements: Candidate must include responses regarding experience at Providence facilities, with references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
