Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in a beachside acute care hospital. This position involves providing high-risk pregnancy monitoring, assisting with vaginal deliveries, circulating for C-sections, and performing postpartum and newborn care. The role requires a flexible and experienced nurse capable of floating between units as needed.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Licensure as an RN, 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced certifications or NCC Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM), BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart monitoring skills.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Assist with vaginal deliveries, circulate during C-sections, work in a busy hospital delivering approximately 200-300 babies monthly, monitor high-risk pregnancies, and provide postpartum and newborn care.
• Certifications and Skills: Ability to work in an operating room during C-sections with standard equipment, assist during labor and delivery, and work with high-risk antepartum patients.
• Additional Information: Will float to postpartum if needed; local radius is 50 miles. Must be able to work in an OR suite during C-section procedures.
