Job Summary
The Intensive Care Unit Surgical (ICU Surgical) nurse position is based in an acute care facility. This role involves providing specialized critical care to surgical patients in a dedicated surgical intensive care unit. The position requires a committed healthcare professional capable of managing complex surgical cases, including transplant, hepatobiliary, and general surgery patients.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid CPR (American Heart Association), ACLS, and SICU and trauma/Level 1 trauma experience. Minimum of 2-3 years related work experience. Epic electronic medical record experience is required.
- Additional Information: This position is in an 8-bed SICU caring for a variety of surgical patients. Ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3. Start date is ASAP or within 4 weeks, with weekly orientation on Mondays. No local travelers will be accepted (residency within 50 miles not permitted). Parking costs can be up to $43 daily.
