Telemetry Nurse, Telemetry, Washington This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a telemetry unit within the region. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to float across multiple units, primarily based at one facility but covering others as needed.
Job Details
- Location: Region Two, primarily at the hospital in Washington.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years acute care experience in telemetry.
- Additional Information: Nurses will be required to titrate drips such as insulin, heparin, nitro, dobutamine, dopamine, and Cardizem, up to maximum allowable doses. RNs work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5 patients and may be assigned to a CNA or entrance screener if needed. The role involves monitoring telemetry equipment, reading strips remotely, and providing care for patients with diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, ortho/spine, and oncology. Floating to all Med/Surg and Telemetry divisions is required, with orientation provided for specific units. Up to four shifts may be canceled during the assignment; charting is conducted via EPIC.
