Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse for a temporary assignment in Poughkeepsie, NY. This role involves providing specialized care within a level 2 trauma, teaching hospital setting, with opportunities to support a diverse patient population across critical care units.

Job Details

• Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Shift times are from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM with alternating weekends.
• Required: New York RN License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: 3 or more years of ICU experience.
• Responsibilities include supporting ventilator management, endotracheal tubes, tracheostomies, post-surgical patients, trauma, neurosurgery, neuro intervention, post-cardiac catheterization, DKA, cardiac drips, sedation titration, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheter, transvenous pacing wires, post-structural heart patients, telemetry, and lab interpretation.
• Additional Information: Must possess strong critical thinking and time management skills. Floating within the Critical Care Service line (ICU, Medical Stepdown, Surgical Stepdown, Cardiothoracic Stepdown) may be required.
