Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) located at a healthcare facility in the region. This role involves providing patient care in a step-down unit with responsibilities including managing cardiac drips and monitoring patients post-TAVR and Watchman mitro clips procedures. The position is a 13-week travel assignment with flexible shift options.
Job Details
- Location: Region unspecified; facility operates multiple locations including Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita.
- Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: AZ license, BLS, ACLS, Cerner EMR experience, 2+ years of experience in a similar cardiac monitored setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience handling cardiac drips, familiarity with TAVRs and Watchman mitro clips.
- Additional Information:
- This position is part of a float pool, requiring flexibility to work across multiple facilities.
- The candidate should be comfortable floating between departments as needed.
- Work involves a 6-week schedule with six weekend shifts.
- Scrub color can be any color.
- The unit is a step-down area with acuity levels below ICU, demanding proficiency with cardiac monitoring and pharmacology.
- Cerner EMR experience is required for candidate consideration.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must have AZ license, BLS, ACLS, and at least two years of relevant experience to qualify.
