Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN Nights Location unspecified. Job Details

• Position Description: This role involves assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. The RN reviews patient history, physicals, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results and developing appropriate care plans.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification. Experience in acute care nursing; 0-1 year of recent clinical experience preferred.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for care based on physician orders and the nursing care plan, delegating and supervising activities of other licensed and non-licensed personnel, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team and patients. Participation in professional development, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives is encouraged.
• Submission: Candidates are expected to demonstrate clinical performance competencies appropriate to the specialty and to maintain licensure and certifications timely.
