Intensive Care Unit Burn (ICU Burn) professional in Plano, TX. This role involves delivering specialized care in a Burn Trauma Intensive Care unit, focusing on patients requiring critical burn and trauma management. It requires collaboration within a dynamic team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for providing specialized critical care in a Burn Trauma Intensive Care unit with a focus on wound care, codes, EVDs, and MTP procedures.
- Unit Information: Burn Trauma ICU with 30 beds, staffed by approximately 85 healthcare professionals, including RNs and PCTs, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for PCU patients.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid RN license; no minimum experience required; preferred skills include communication and critical thinking skills.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role may include working in MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or other PCU units; on weekends, there is a requirement to work 2 weekends per pay period.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet the certification and skill set requirements and demonstrate teamwork and willingness to engage with unit protocols.
