Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in Naperville, IL. This position involves providing critical care in a high-acuity ICU setting within a level 2 trauma center. The role requires delivering specialized nursing care to patients experiencing respiratory failure, sepsis, post-surgical recovery, and behavioral conditions, among others, adhering to relevant certification and licensure requirements.
Job Details
- Position: ICU Nurse
- Location: Naperville, IL
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: IL Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), 3 years of experience in a high-acuity ICU setting.
- Responsibilities include managing patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, MSOF, alcohol and drug withdrawal, and behavioral health conditions.
- Submission Requirements: Resume, two references (within 12 months, must be supervisor or charge nurse), skills checklist, license verification, active certifications, cover letter. Creds are due the Thursday before the start date.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
