Labor and Delivery Nurse in Muskogee. This position involves the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery department. The role requires delivering high-quality care in accordance with hospital standards and policies, with a focus on patient-centered care and collaboration with healthcare colleagues.
Job Details
- Location: Muskogee
- Shift: Evenings, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License, completion of a basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing, and current BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and proof of instruction/passage of Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to care for assigned patients, performing assessments, developing individualized care plans, and documenting steps of patient care with accurate medical terminology.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, prioritize tasks effectively, and conduct patient education, particularly around discharge planning.
- Must demonstrate professional judgment and effective communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing clinical situations.
