Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Clinch Valley Medical Center, Virginia. This position involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, as well as nursery care for new-borns. The role requires flexibility to float between the Nursery and Post-Partum units within a busy Level 3 Obstetrics unit.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for delivering quality care to obstetric and neonatal patients, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery care, across a Level 3 OB unit with a low volume of less than 15 deliveries per month.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate fetal monitoring or above, STABLE certification, 1-year minimum experience in labor and delivery or nursery care, Virginia license or Compact State license, minimum 18 months experience, and valid certifications.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in General Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery, and Nursery care, with competency in OB delivery and neonatal care.
• Additional Information: Must float to Nursery and Post-Partum units as needed; low-volume OB unit.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates will be required to submit verification of certifications and licensure upon onboarding.
