Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Travel, Days Shift, Starting 10/19/2026 in a healthcare facility. This position requires providing individualized, holistic patient and family care utilizing the nursing process. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to promote quality outcomes and serve as a patient advocate, ensuring safe and therapeutic care for a diverse patient population.

Job Details

• Certifications: CA RN license, CPR, ACLS, NIH, BSN or ADN required.
• Education requirements include at least three years of recent RN experience in an RN role and at least two years of recent RN experience working in a specialty area.
• This role involves providing nursing care that progresses patients towards self-identified, holistic, and individualized goals.
• Performs nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe, therapeutic, efficient patient care.
• Develops, implements, and revises plan of care using nursing interventions tailored to the patient's age and cultural background, documenting all steps appropriately.
• Assesses learning needs, develops educational plans, and uses adult learning principles to evaluate understanding and response.
• Communicates effectively across the healthcare team, delegates tasks within scope of practice, and coordinates patient care to ensure best outcomes.
• Participates in patient care conferences and advocates for patients and families, promoting participation in decision-making.
• The schedule is Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Candidates must submit valid licensure and certifications upon application.
