• Position Description: The registered nurse provides individualized, age-specific care across the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and adjusting care plans, serving as patient and family advocate, coordinating with the healthcare team, documenting responses and education, and participating in patient care conferences. The role may involve float responsibilities to other units or facilities, including PCU or lower care levels.
