Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Nurse in Temple. The registered nurse provides specialized perioperative care to patients undergoing open heart, open vascular, or endovascular surgery. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evenings, M-F, 1:00 PM 9:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 2 years of experience in CVOR, open heart, open vascular, or endovascular surgery, and a degree in nursing (RN license)
• Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Open Heart
• Certifications: BLS required
• Additional Information: The role involves supporting open heart, open vascular, and endovascular surgical procedures within a facility setting, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and patient safety protocols. The RN will participate in perioperative patient management, collaborate with surgical teams, and maintain patient advocacy throughout the surgical experience.
