Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing critical patient care in a busy ER setting at a critical access hospital. The position requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality emergency services and support a dynamic team environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: The nurse works alongside another RN to care for medical-surgical, outpatient, and emergency department patients. Typical procedures include IV starts and Foley catheter placement. Equipment utilized includes EPIC, Philips central monitor/telemetry, and Lifepak 15.
• Required Qualifications: Active state license (including SD or equivalent), BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications, minimum three years of experience, must have critical access hospital experience preferred but not required.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Orientation for travelers can be tailored with up to a week of training. Flexibility on ER charge nurse coverage is preferred; all nurses working the floor should be able to work in ER.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC are required.
• Other Qualifications: EPIC experience preferred, with floating to various units/departments as needed.
