Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in en_US Located within the healthcare organization, this role involves providing comprehensive nursing care within a hospital setting. The position includes working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with inter-professional teams, and delivering patient-centered care across all phases of treatment and recovery.
Job Details
- Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
- Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population-specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting.
- Cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up as patients move along the continuum of care.
- Responsible for the planning and coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions.
- Functions within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure.
- The Sanford Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, and ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts with at least 36 hours per week from 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must note if clinician has previously worked for the organization; if so, the prior assignment must have been ended at least 6 months before the submission date. Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility and wear navy blue scrubs.
