Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Location: unspecified. This position requires dedicated OR nursing professionals to provide exceptional surgical care within an acute care hospital setting. The role involves working with trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of recent OR experience including trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho cases, CPR certified (BLS).
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must be able to cover one night shift if needed, and be flexible to work up to 6-8 shifts within a 6-week period, including nights, evenings, and weekends. Call is required and distributed equally among staff every 6 weeks. Candidates should have experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, and familiarity with a variety of surgical procedures listed in the skills section.

- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to prior work at Providence facilities, provide 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the past 3 years, and meet all compliance criteria.
