Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Plano. This position involves providing specialized care in a Neuro Progressive Care Unit in preparation for the transition to a Neuro PCU. The role requires close collaboration with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care and ensure clinical excellence.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and 0 years of experience are required.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a Neuro Progressive Care Unit, including monitoring neurological status and providing patient education.
- Certification in NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) is required for this position.
- Additional relevant certifications or training in neuro or critical care are preferred.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work independently, and a strong foundation in progressive care nursing are essential.
- Submission of an active nursing license and confirmation of compliance with facility policies is required for consideration.
