Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Location: Not specified. This position involves providing high-quality perioperative care in an acute care hospital setting. The OR Nurse will be responsible for assisting in various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining sterile environments. The role requires trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic experience due to trauma status.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS certification; at least 2 years of experience; current licensure in the state; trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho experience; at least 1 year of travel or relevant experience; and the ability to work in the specified location.
- Schedule: 12-hour shift, daytime hours, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/02/2026 and ending on 02/01/2027.
- Responsibilities include assisting with a variety of surgical procedures such as trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgeries, along with maintaining adherence to safety protocols and charting requirements.
- Additional Information: Candidates may need to cover one night shift within their contract as needed, and must be flexible with the potential to float between units. The role involves on-call duties distributed every 6 weeks and requires working three of the five specified holidays.
